World Environment Day 2020 Event Materials

Thanks For Participating

On June 5, 2020, we hosted you on the World Environment Day Biodiversity Awareness Programme (BAP) organised by Environmental Development and Social Justice Initiatives (EDSI).

We are particularly worried that about 58% of the world’s populations of more than 3,000 species between 1970 and 2016 have been lost and also the increasing threat that biodiversity resources across the globe is facing. Similarly, the Public health  dimension of the biodiversity loss is of  great interest in view of the adverse impact that COVID 19 pandemic has had on wood resources being used to meet the public demand for disposable tissue papers.

I believe that you have well understood the issues at stake and are in a position to be a part of the solution in your respective spaces.

We are willing to partner with you on any initiative you advance as your own contribution to solving the problem. Please feel free to reach us when the need arises.
